PLAYERS – TERE SEGOVIA 06/06-15/06

Bate Social Store presents Players, a solo exhibition of the artist Tere Segovia in collaboration with emerging curator Antonia Mejía. Teresa’s approach to art comes from decontextualization, appropriation, and contemporary collective imaginary. She dives into our way of living with images and her work finds a way of distorting concepts of traditional beauty through irony.

Players seeks to exaggerate our disconnection with art. Teresa uses the game as an everyday tool to question the innocence of images. At the same time the exhibition’s purpose is to prevent this disconnection by inviting the spectators to have an active role in the exposition/game.
